Azadeh Rezvani

Senior Associate Attorney

Azadeh Rezvani is a senior associate attorney at Federal Practice Group with nearly two decades of diversified legal experience, including extensive expertise in federal litigation, regulatory compliance, and privacy law. Her practice focuses on representing clients in complex matters involving the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), and privacy and disclosure issues, as well as a broad range of federal and civil litigation matters. Ms. Rezvani is known for her strategic approach to litigation, strong analytical skills, and ability to navigate sensitive legal and regulatory challenges on behalf of her clients.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Rezvani served in senior legal roles within the federal government, most recently as Deputy Chief of the Government Information Law Division (GILD) at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor. In that capacity, she managed high-profile FOIA litigation matters, provided technical legal guidance on information disclosure laws — including FOIA, the Privacy Act, and the Federal Records Act — and advised senior leadership on legally significant issues. Her government service included extensive motions practice, settlement negotiations, coordination with law enforcement agencies, and strategic oversight of complex investigations and compliance matters.

Ms. Rezvani also brings substantial experience from private practice, where she represented clients in complex civil litigation and medical malpractice defense, managing active caseloads and achieving favorable outcomes through dispositive motion practice and negotiated resolutions. In addition to her litigation background, she has held executive leadership positions in healthcare administration, overseeing multi-location operations and implementing data-driven strategies to improve organizational performance and client service.

Ms. Rezvani earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and her Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from The George Washington University School of Business. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Rezvani is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
