Monica Stoneking is the Marketing Director for the Federal Practice Group. She joined the FPG team with more than 20 years of experience in strategic branding, marketing and communications. After years of working in corporate and national non-profit marketing, Ms. Stoneking started her own, award-winning marketing firm to help individuals, small businesses, growing businesses, and non-profit organizations develop strategic branding, marketing, and outreach plans. She left SK Consulting to become an integral part in FPG’s growth strategy and overall mission.
In 2018, Ms. Stoneking received a Fountain Award from the KC Business Marketing Association for best Integrative Campaign – beating out large corporations like Cerner. In addition, she received a national network award from the CW Network for innovation in production and promotion by creating the CW Crew, which has been adopted by affiliates throughout the country. She served as the National Spokesperson for the American Red Cross Blood Services during three national labor negotiations.
An avid educator, advocate and writer, Ms. Stoneking initiated and wrote a weekly column in The Columbia Missourian and has published two books. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism from Truman State University and earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
Ms. Stoneking is certified in content strategy, email marketing, social media management, digital marketing and brand management through HubSpot Academy. She has been honored as a Who’s Who in entrepreneurship and has received two Paul Harris Fellow awards from Rotary International.
