Mr. Rohani-Shukla is an Associate with the Federal Practice Group and is part of the law firm’s federal employment group. Mr. Rohani-Shukla is experienced at representing employees litigating and negotiating claims brought under the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), the Americans with Disabilities Act/Rehabilitation Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and litigating whistleblower retaliation and discrimination claims against federal agencies.
Prior to joining the Federal Practice Group, Mr. Rohani-Shukla served as an Associate Attorney at two laws firm based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Washington, DC, respectively. He has experience representing employees in administrative hearings and litigation in state and federal court, and counseling employees and employers on day-to-day compliance with federal and state employment laws. He also has experience representing indigent clients under a variety of statutes from working as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Justice Center in Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. Rohani-Shukla earned his Juris Doctorate from William & Mary Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in International Politics with a Minor in Business from The Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Rohani-Shukla is admitted to practice in Virginia and his application to practice in the District of Columbia Bar is pending.
