ERIC MONTALVO SPEAKS AT THE FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM PRESS CONFERENCE

Posted By Kara Barnes || 11-Nov-2020

FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM PRESS CONFERENCE IS BEING HELD AT THE USMC COMMANDANT’S HOUSE AT 8TH AND I, WHERE THE MILITARY SEXUAL TRAUMA MOVEMENT AND THE FAMILIES OF THAE OHU AND CELESTE LARGO WILL NOTIFY THE PUBLIC REGARDING THEIR INCARCERATION AFTER BOTH FEMALE MARINES REPORTED BEING RAPED

Washington D.C. – Over the summer, the American public became aware of the violent death of Texas native and U.S. Army soldier Specialist Vanessa Guillen after she told her family she was frightened to report an incident of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) to her Chain of Command. Around the same time as the public outcry for the I Am Vanessa Guillen Act of 2020; two female Marines were incarcerated for assault charges after experiencing flashbacks due to being raped. Both CPL Thae Ohu and PFC Celeste Largo reported their sexual assaults to their Chains of Command and requested medical treatment. Both Marine’s families have stated they were given insufficient care which led to the escalation of their mental health conditions.

Speaker Line up

Janelle Marina Mendez, CEO of the Military Sexual Trauma Movement

Larvae Mescal – Mother of PFC Celeste Largo

Pan Phys – Sister of CPL Thae Ohu

AR Yu – Father of CPL Thae Ohu

Eric S. Montalvo – Trial Counsel for Thae Ohu of Federal Practice Group
